Training at the Akp Engr E. Willie Foundation is free. The Foundation covers the full cost of every trainee, and applying costs nothing.
Who can apply
You can apply if you are an indigene of Akwa Ibom State and you are:
- a science or technical student
- an undergraduate or fresh graduate
- an OND, HND, or B.Sc holder
- a career switcher or job seeker
Akwa Ibom indigene status is required for every applicant.

How we choose
We are not looking only for the best qualifications on paper. We are looking for the most determined, committed, and hungry young person behind the application. Your Personal Mission Statement carries the most weight, so tell us who you are, why you want this training, and what you will do with it.
Spreading the impact: no two candidates from the same village are selected in the same cohort. This lets our training reach as many communities across Akwa Ibom as possible.

- Choose a track. Decide whether CCNA or Alternative Energy fits you.
- Fill in the application form. It is free and takes about 20 minutes.
- Write your Personal Mission Statement. This is the most important part of your application.
