The need
Nigeria produces about 600,000 graduates every year, and fewer than 30% find work in their field of study. The digital skills gap is real, but it can be closed. Akwa Ibom’s young people are talented and determined, and what many of them lack is organised access to the right training, certifications, and opportunities.

Our response
The Akp Engr E. Willie Foundation (AEEWF) is a youth-focused digital engineering initiative rooted in Akwa Ibom State. We provide free, world-class technical training in two tracks: Networking Certification (Cisco CCNA) and Alternative Energy Installation. The Foundation funds the full cost of every trainee, at $900 per person, and selects young people for their determination and commitment, not only their grades.

What we ask of you
We cannot do this alone. There are four ways to take part, and each one turns a young person’s potential into a career.

Our commitment to you
The Founder has committed personal resources to establishing the Foundation. We publish annual impact reports and outcomes, and we name beneficiaries with their permission, so you can see what your support achieves.

“True success is not what you accumulate. It is the generation you lift after you.”
Akparawa Engr. Emmanuel Willie, Founder
